I know how you feel. I lost a tube to an ectopic pregnancy last year and ever since my surgery my periods have been every 3-4 months. We have been trying for 12 months with no luck so my ob/gyn have prescribed me Clomid to regulate my cycles. I don’t know if it’s going to work and I can’t really give you any answers as I’m in the same boat as you but I just wanted to say good luck to you and I really hope it all works out. One thing I do know is a neighbour of mine lost a tube 10 years ago and went on to have 3 children with one tube so it is possible! All the best and sending lots of baby dust your way xxx

Oh, sure you can. As far as I know, the ovaries alternate the job each cycle. The chances are reduced by 50%. But it only takes one!

First, I agree with the reply before mine, just pray and it will all work out in time.
I only have one tube as well and I did conceive after I lost my left tube. @ one point the only tube I have was blocked but I had another HSG done this year and the tube is now open (No idea how it happened, but I’m glad it did). So you just have to monitor your cycles really closely, because you will only be able to conceive when you ovulate on the side where you have a tube and ovary. So basically, just start from scratch and know that you are only going to conceive on that other month.
I still ovulate on both sides, but the right side is the only one that matters (in my case).
Good luck and we will get this done!!!!

You can concieve with only one tube, I did. Your ovaries still release eggs, on both sides. So as long as you are ovulating, you can still get pregnant. I suggesst buying an ovulation kit so you know if you are ovulating, and have sex around your most fertile days. Good luck hun.
