is it true that taking prenatal vitamins while TTC can improve chances of getting pregnant?
i actually just lost my baby. its heart stopped 8weeks (according to the size of the baby) into the pregnancy and we didn’t find out until we were 13weeks.
anyways i’ve heard that taking prenatals while TTC can help your chances? my husband and i aren’t ready to try for another baby yet but i have a bunch of left over prenatals so i was wondering if i should take them when we are ready to try.

You should be taking prenatal vitamins no matter what, but especially if you are TTC. It can prevent all kinds of birth defects, such as spinal bifida, and help you gain extra vitamins you will need once pregnant. Read up on this, everyone and everything recommends you take a prenatal vitamin before and after getting pregnant.

I’m sorry to hear that. I also just miscarried and my doctor said that when we are ready to try again we should start taking prenatals at least 1 month prior to starting.

nope it’s not unfortunately. i’ve been trying to conceive for 6 months now and my doctor gave me prenatal vitamins so that if and when i become pregnant my body will be healthy to carry the baby, but he told me it doesn’t not help with actually conceiving.
