Trying to conceive after stopping the pill?
I stopped taking the pill back in January as my partner and i have decided to try for a baby. My last period whilst on the pill finished the 2nd January and i then stopped taking them.
My first ‘Normal’ period was 5th Feb after a 40 day cycle, i then had a 35 day cycle and had another period 12th March. I am just tryin to work out when in my cycle i am due to ovulate and work out the best days to have intercourse to have a better chance of falling pregnant. So many pages on the internet are telling me different ranging from day 14 through to day 25 of my cycle.
Can anyone give me any advice?….before now i was taking the pill for 5 years and before then i had regular cycles of between 28 – 31 days
I understand that from stopping the pill it can take time to conceive as my body has to adjust again to hormone changes etc, but just feel a little lost lol!
thanks!
p.s
I have had intercourse so far every other day since i stopped my period on 17th March!

I am also about to TTC. I was informed by my doctor that I should expect any “results” until at least 3 months after being off the pill. I was also told that the “normal” ovulation occurs 14 days before your period starts! So if you can guess around what day it will start you should have an estimate of when to do the baby dance! =)
As long as you keep up the “baby dance” every other day you should get lucky soon!
