What is the best age to get pregnant?
Hi,
I wanted to know what it the best age to get pregnant. I was married in jan 2004.It will be 5 yrs of our marraige. My husband is 32 year born 1976 and I’m 29 born year 1979. PLease let me knw when is the right time to plan for a baby. I hope we are not too old to get pregnant.

the best age for pregnancy is 18-25.
younger or older aren’t good for girls.

Fertility can begin to decline in the 30s. Lots of women get pregnant easily though.
Honestly, you can never be perfectly prepared to have a baby. The experience is so life-changing that you can’t really imagine until you are a parent. That being said, I don’t think there’s a wrong time if you are in a loving marriage and you both are reasonably mature. Having a child demands a LOT of self-sacrifice and change. These sacrifices and changes are joyful (even if they are challenging) if you are mature enough to handle them. You do have to be prepared to be totally unprepared. LOL.
I am 32 now and have a 6 year old and a 3 year old. I do not feel I was too young when I had them. I think I would have been fine when I was even younger. I think the biggest factor is how open your heart is to sharing your life w/ a new person, one who is completely dependent on you. Some people are afraid, but it really is miraculous. Even all of the fatigue and stained clothing are worth it when you watch your beautiful child grow and blossom.

His age doesn’t matter. You should try before you are 35 though because your fertility will be halved after that.

Try now. Don’t be afraid you are too old! There are forty year old women conceiving children nowadays! (unfortunately. there’s a greater chance those children will have Down syndrome when the mother is so much older.)
