The ONLY thing that is scientifically based on trying to conceive one sex or the other is this…Male sperm are faster, but Female sperm live longer. So..If you want a boy, be sure to have sex on the day that you are ovulating because the Male sperm have a better chance at getting to the egg first. If you want a girl, have sex about 2 days before you ovulate (since sperm live up to 72 hours in your body) so that when your egg comes down, there will be much more Female eggs alive than male. Interesting right? Now the trick is to try and pin point exactly when you ovulate! Best of luck hun.

There is nothing you can do to improve your chances of conceiving a girl. The sex of the child is determined 100% by the chromosome that is present in the sperm that fertilizes the egg. Anything you hear about foods to eat, positions, or anything are old wives tales and have no basis in reality.
Actually, there is one way to improve your chances of conceiving a girl, but even it isn’t fool proof. Some families are more likely to have one sex of child or the other, though most it’s a fairly even mix. If the father of your child is the only boy in a sea of sisters, it’s more likely he’ll produce girls, though like I said, it really isn’t fool proof, because there is no control over such matters.

There are million old wives tales and not one of them is true. There is zero difference between a sperm carrying an X and a sperm carrying a Y. You get what you get.
