Inherited Obesity
If you’re planning to have children and want to help them avoid getting fat, lose your own fat before you get pregnant. That’s the message from researchers who have found obesity during pregnancy can cause lifelong obesity in the next generations. As this sciencentral News video explains, the good news is that researchers also found a dietary way to reverse this effect. www.sciencentral.com

It must be hard to tell if you’re fat or not when pregnant. And I wonder if they tell the people that they are going to take a picture of their bellies.

it doesnt necessarily mean that you will grow up to be obese. Some babies are just more developed when they are born, meaning bigger, longer, etc. If your parents arent obese, then your chances of being obese are less than that of people who’s parents are obese:)

Both my parents weren’t fat or obese when I was born and I was born weighing 13lbs. I was a big baby. What does that mean?
